Kompong Pluk - The Stilted Village
Located some 18KM from Siem Reap, the village of Kompong Pluk is an absolute must see. Built in the flood planes of the Tonle Sap lake, the houses tower on stilts as high as 10 meters tall. In the wet season the stilts are hidden and water laps at the floor boards of the houses. The flooded Mangrove forests are an incredible sight and a wonderful place to tour by boat.
Cooking classes
Spend an afternoon learning about traditional Cambodian cuisine with our hands on cooking classes. Cooking food from the guesthouses menu or going to the local market accompanied by our staff this is a unique experience to cherish. Classes are set on the roof top of the guesthouse and are held daily at 2.00pm. Each class runs for around 3 hours. $10 per person / Maximum of 5 people per class.
